The Importance of SEO for Online Business Success!

The Importance of SEO for Your Online Business Success

Is SEO important for an online business to be successful? By all means, YES! There is Pay Per Click for immediate results, but it can be expensive; Social Media can most definitely drive traffic, but it can also take some time to build a strong presence.

The Importance of SEO and the Search Engines for Added Traffic!

You can have one of the best looking websites on the Internet… it can be flashy with the most gorgeous and sexy looking photos and graphics, but it won’t mean much if you don’t get visitors.

Compare if you will, a website to an uncharted island; this island could be right there in the middle of the ocean and can be littered with diamonds to cure all your financial needs, or magic plants that can rid the World of many different diseases, but it won’t help anybody if no one knows the island exists!

If I were a betting man, I would guess that your desire for a successful online business campaign would be to get as many visitors as possible to arrive at your site to see the amazing products or services you offer.

Why are Search Engines and SEO SO Important?

When people want information right now, where do they go? The search engine! The majority of the people will type their desired information into their browser’s search box, or navigate to their favorite search engine like Google, Yahoo or Bing, for the information they seek. The search engine is the cog that drives the wheel for potential leads or customers to reach your website.

With properly done on page optimization and off page optimization, not only will you increase your site’s presence in the search engine results pages, but properly done SEO will also send targeted traffic back to the information offered on your site, and help brand your site as an authority in your niche.

Although the desire to have large quantities of traffic back to your site from the search engine’s are your goal here, not just any old traffic will do. You must have that precise, targeted traffic that represents what your site is offering… after all, the success of your Internet-based business is counting on it.

Search engine optimization, which also involves effective keyword research, can help you be well on your way to reaching those goals. We all know that the greater online presence you have within the search engines, the greater amount of customers, leads and sales you can generate!

There aren’t very many methods that can offer FREE targeted ‘Buyer’ type traffic other than the search engine.

This is a no-brainer… the higher your website is in the search engine results pages for a given keyword phrase, specific to your page, the greater amount of targeted traffic you will receive back to your website.

Optional SEO Expert Outsourcing

The competition is fierce, so the importance of SEO needs to be top priority for your online business if you want to compete with the billions of other sites on the Web.

SEO outsourcing to a search engine optimization specialist can be a smart option for those looking to succeed in the digital world.

In order for the visitor to reach their destination (back to your site), through the use of the search engine, you will need to provide detailed information to the algorithmic spider that crawls your site, that the search engine can place within its database, that is specific to the users search query.

This is all done through the use of, properly researched and positioned, carefully chosen keywords.

SEO is an art that cannot be taken lightly. Optimizing your content and its related elements involve a great deal of manual work, and come with quite a learning curve.

For the Google algorithm alone, there are more than 200 ranking factors that are used to establish a baseline to index your site in its search engine results page’s database. The Google Engineers make about half-a-dozen changes to their algorithm each week to reflect changes in the way people actually perform searches.

It’s also a fact that there are 200+ million Web users, in the United States alone, that use search engines to find the product or service they are in need of. Another fact is that close to 75% of those Internet users don’t ever leave the first page of the search engine results page.

For those business professionals that lack the understanding of on page optimization and off page optimization to include link building for authority, it can be a smart business move to hire out.

      Hey Elliot,

It is so true… SEO is definitely important for any online business… Social Media Marketing can also send quite a bit of traffic to your site.

With search engines, you don’t need to do daily tasks to remain in the eyes of the people doing the searches… your content is already within the search engine databases, showing up in the search engine results pages (SERP’s).

Social media on the other hand can be a little more difficult… you need to build a following which isn’t ever an easy task, you must continue posting to the social media venues or your followers will no longer pay attention.

Thank You for stopping by and taking the time to comment.
