Would you postpone sex for tomorrow?

Then, why postpone that crucial task for tomorrow?

This anonymous quote on the internet got my attention.

“Tomorrow – (noun) – A mystical land where 99% of all human productivity, motivation and achievement is stored.”

Unfortunately, this mystical lands never comes, and so do the fortune that we always dreamt of.

To change our fortune, we need to set goals and make small efforts consistently until we accomplish the same. The process of achieving significant results is complex and challenging. You have to make crucial decisions and deal with external challenges. Many a time, you need to overcome your weaknesses to make it big.

To win, we have no other option but to deal with all the challenges that come on the way to succeed. There could be many solutions to each problem. However, I use one word frequently to inspire myself in every situation. It has proven to be extremely useful in doing daily activities efficiently.

That word is “NOW.”

That word is “NOW.”

Let me show, how you can use this word to answer critical questions.

When is the right time to start my business? – Now

There is no better time to start a business than ‘now.’ Future is uncertain, and no one knows the challenges that they may face in future. If you want to start a business later, say after two years, it is better to focus on the present or start a business now. Unexpected issues may stop you from taking such a significant risk two years down the line. So, if you are planning to start a business but waiting for the right time, hold on no more. Go ahead and launch the business now with whatever resources you have.

Want to change a bad habit? – Change Now

We all have few habits that stop us from achieving our goals. You feel the need to change that habit but don’t know how to do it. Find the right way to change the habit now. And get into action right away. You may lose the opportunity if you don’t act on it today.

Want to Focus? – Act now

Every moment is the right time to get distracted or stay focused. Unfortunately, today we can access many things with one click. Therefore, we feel distracted all the time. However, to achieve our long-term goals, we need to have a direction. Thus, it is important to prioritize ideas and tasks and focus on things that matter the most. Act ‘now’. For improving focus, tomorrow will never come.

Want to learn a new skill? – Learn Now

The sooner you will learn a skill, the better it is. You can practice more and become perfect by the time you need to apply your skills in real life. If you feel  that you don’t have sufficient time to learn or practice today; the situation will not be much different in the future too. You need to make proactive efforts to take time out of your busy schedules to learn new things. No excuses; just start learning Now.

Want to make a plan? – Plan Now

A concrete plan of action is crucial to accomplishing goals. If you have defined goals, the next step should be to create a plan of action. Create a step-by-step action plan and stick to it. If you don’t have a plan and if you are working to achieve a goal; it is the right time to pause for a moment and develop a quick plan before moving ahead. Make a practical plan of action now.

When is the Deadline? – Now

A goal without a deadline is just a vision or dream. Having a good intent will not solve any problems in the real world. You need to act promptly to accomplish your goals. Set a timeline for all the activities you do on a daily basis. For creative or new tasks, where it is hard to estimate a timeline, make some assumptions to decide a deadline. But make sure that you keep a deadline and strive to achieve it for all the things that you have planned to do.

Without a strict deadline, you will never be able to finish any task. So, before you work on your next task, set a time limit and work swiftly to achieve it. It will boost your confidence immensely.

Bottom Line

Become a doer and not just a thinker by investing in “NOW.” Don’t wait for a perfect tomorrow. Today is the perfect day of your life and this moment is the right moment to get started.

So, what are you waiting for?

I totally agree with your opinion! The main problem of the humanity is to put things on a waiting list. I often face the challenge of doing things tomorrow but not now. As far as I’m an aspiring blogger I have some skills in performing different kinds of writing. So that, I’ve decided to try working at case study writing service .
I was hired and was given a task but it was sooo hard to perform the task because I had a long deadline and I waited till later. I started writing the assignment on the final day!! How much I regretted not creating it earlier…Since then, I force myself making everything now but not tomorrow because it’s much easier. Thank you for sharing nice tips on how to motivate yourself.
