Has Your Site Been Blacklisted?

Black List Alert to See if Your Site has Been Classified as Spam!

Back in 2012, I acquired the domain name SEOBlogTips.com from a person that decided to let it go after owning it for 3 years.

Prior to purchasing this premium domain name, I gave GoDaddy a call to ask if they could run a ‘Spam Blacklist’ check to see if it had any skeletons in the closet.

This domain name came up clean as a whistle, so I decided to use it in place of my previous blog domain name Web SEO Blog Tips.

Could Your Site Be in the BlackList Database?

As you know, the Internet is full of cyber threats today, ranging from spammers to virus infected websites. Because of this there are many blacklist databases filled with these infected and spam ridden sites.

The goal of these sites are to help companies identify problematic domains and IP addresses.

If you would like to see if your site happens to be in any of these blacklist databases, visit BlackListAlerts.org.

When you arrive on the site, put your domain name in the box, click the ‘Check’ button; once the results show, it will give you a list of all the sites, and whether your domain is OK or needs attention.

Closing Comments About the Black List Alerts Site

Moving to a new web hosting company, or making a switch to a different server would be a valid reason to use this Blacklist Alert site.

When I moved this site over from a shared hosting plan to a virtual dedicated server, I did a blacklist look up to make sure it was clear of any issues.

If you decide to add an external link from your website to another person’s site, check this person’s site first to make sure it’s clean. Google and other search engines will penalize you for linking to a bad neighborhood.

NOW, STOP what you are doing and run your site through this FREE database blacklist checker.
