10 Key Fundamentals for Successful Blogging Leading to Unprecedented Profits [Infographic]!
Have you ever wondered what it takes to have a successful blog? Have you stood by and watched others increase their site’s exposure and success within the blogger-sphere?
Welp… here’s some help from a successful business man… below you will find an infographic created by Mark Scheafer of BusinessesGrow.com for what he calls 10 Maxims for successful blogging.
10 Fundamentals for Successful Blogging
1. Dig Deep Down and Tell Your Story
The Internet is littered with useless and uninspiring information. Be different… stand out from the crowd and tell your unique story that nobody has heard before, which leads me to the next fundamental…
2. Have the Courage to Just Do It
It takes bravery to put yourself out there to meet with possible criticism for whatever you put into cyberspace. Stand your ground and believe in what you stand for.
3. Don’t Confuse Your Readers
Find what you are good at and what you would like to share with the world then go out and do it. Educate yourself and become a leader in the blogging community for your niche.
4. Give Love to Your Readers
When someone takes the time to socially participate by leaving a comment to your writing brilliance, be sure to acknowledge and comment back.
I have written an article about How Commenting on Blogs Can Make You an Exceptional Person [Blogger]… be sure to check it out.
5. BE POSITIVE
Nobody likes a sourpuss or a person that does nothing but criticize others. Yes, negative blog posts can be controversial and considered Link Bait (another story) bringing all sorts of traffic, but dig deep and discover what you are all about. Is this the type of person you want people to see you as?
The infographic below states it pretty well… “Negative blog posts are like a car wreck.” it may raise a person’s curiosity to see what it’s all about, but it’s not something a person wants to see all the time.
6. Stay Focused – Stay Centered
I like to say “Never, Never, Never Give Up!”… all this means is that you will never succeed if you quit. Even if your blog posts are being criticized, all you can do is learn from it and try to do better the next time.
7. Create Content that is R-I-T-E
Relevant, Interesting, Timely and Entertaining. Mark makes a good point… being boring can be the death of a blog.
To add… I believe that the layout of your site can be a turn-off to many… if your blog posts are filled with nothing but text without an image or two, plus your paragraphs or sentences are long-winded, this can add to the dissatisfaction.
Add images for visual stimulation and break your paragraphs into smaller, easy to follow sentences.
8. Don’t Waste People’s Time
You may have heard the old saying “Tell them what you’re going to tell them. Then tell them. And then tell them what you told them.”
Well… to break this down a little further, make sure your headline tells a story about what your blog post is all about. Then, make sure you encourage them to continue by giving them a taste of what they are about to read by placing information about the blog post within the first few sentences.

9. Build Your Network
The most effective way to be successful with blogging is to join social media networking sites and communities; and as the infographic states, “Share and Comment Often.”
Here is a great article to learn the pathetic statistics and learn how we can better ourselves through networking and Social Participation!
10. Just Start Blogging
Just get started! Procrastination is a detriment to blogging. The hardest part is the beginning stages of blogging, wondering if you are doing it right, etc.
Don’t worry about everything being just perfect, just get out there and start blogging… the only way to learn is by doing it.
Closing Comments About Blogging Successfully
If you want people to flock to your blog for information, then you must offer value-based content that will educate, motivate, inspire or entertain your readers giving them a thirst for more.
Being a problem solver and offering solutions to issues your audience may be facing is a big plus.

Hello there!
If you could see my page, I would have to pick a mix of all of them. Starting with number one and number two on that list. I have a motivational blog mostly. Which anyone can do, really. And, then I also tell my story. Coming from a hard background from childhood to teenagehood, I have come a long way to the happy one that I am today. As I did number two on the list, I wrote my book about my life story. (on the look out for publishers) And I also started writing about it on my blog. I dug deep down and gave my audience a true sense of what I am.
Then I follow with four and five on the list, give love and great positive vibe to my viewers. I love them all. I just started my blog, actively speaking, around December and since then I have gained about 1,000 followers all together. I am truly impressed.
I want to continue growing, telling my story and expressing to people that it is ok to fall, as long as you stand up. I also love talking to them and letting them know they can participate as much as they want.
All in all,
thanks for another great post!
The Always Believer
Hey The Always Believer,
It is great what you are doing with your blog… you are putting yourself out there making yourself vulnerable… PEOPLE LOVE THAT!
Some of the most popular blogs I have seen are the ones that tell a story, not the ones that provide information within a certain niche.
You have a great thing going.
Keep up the great work…
